He is totally committed to the extreme environmental lobby, without concern for the effect on American business, workers, and taxpayers. We must keep up the pressure to block continued attempts to enact any form of Cap and Trade. More power grabs from the Obama, Pelosi, Reid Government! Now they are coming for our guns! READ H.R. 45! This bill was introduced on January 6, 2009 and has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee. This committee is chaired by John Conyers (D), Mich., and currently consists of 24 Democrats, 17 Republicans. If you follow the link below you will see that the committee contains some of the most far left Democrats in the Congress. If you want to see what their legislative priorities are go to this link and look at the ‘Committee News and Current Issues’: Read the bill here: Please contact your Congressman and and any of those on the Judiciary Committee. We may have lost the ‘Stimulus’ battle, but now is not the time to surrender. Many conservatives woke up and fought hard to oppose the stimulus bill, just as we did with the immigration bill a couple years ago. We are fighting greater odds now, but that just means we need to fight harder. We will have constant challenges over the next two years, as the liberals know this is the best chance they have ever had to advance their extreme agenda. We must hold our ground until we can muster reinforcements in congress with the 2010 elections. Check this link often to track any action or movement regarding this bill. And if you happen to earn in excess of $200,000 your ‘fair share’ of this Stimulus ‘Bill’ will likely be over $50,000. It is about expanding government, special interests, and to pay back political favors. The root of this economic collapse was government meddling in the banking industry, mandating or encouraging unsustainable changes to lending rules to satisfy a political constituency. Now many of those same politicians that helped create the problem are ramming through the same types of ’solutions’ that got us here in the first place.
